How does it work?

The latest Bioquant LED model contains 4 applicators: red, blue, green and infrared.

Electromagnetic waves of 810nm (NIR near-infrared waves) and 660nm (red light) penetrate the tissue and its components (cells and their internal structures) in the nasal mucosa. They penetrate through the walls of the capillaries into nerve cells as well as into the blood flowing in the capillaries in the mucosa. When an electromagnetic wave interacts with a particular molecule, the electromagnetic waves act like a photon with their energy. Electromagnetic waves acting as photons cause subsequent photochemical changes.

With our eyes, we can observe only photons of red light. We cannot observe NIR light photons because 810 nm belongs to the invisible wavelength, but it can be viewed using an infrared camera.

Also, we cannot observe any electromagnetic waves unless they are absorbed by tissue chromophores, and only photochemical changes can be seen, felt, or observed, whether in the retina of the eyes or other tissues of the body.

It works on the principle of photobiomodulation, but the device was designed to fulfill its purpose of use, especially the modulation of brain waves and the improvement of blood circulation and microcirculation because this is what the brain needs to perform its function perfectly.

The light from the nasal applicator passes through a filter in the nasal adapter - attachment, which causes the electromagnetic waves to be polarized and also the rotation of electromagnetic waves in the nasal adapter to form the so-called circular / elliptical polarization of electromagnetic waves. Such waves can react with molecules, and the interactions do not depend on the position or orientation of the antenna, i.e. the orientation of the photoacceptive molecule, because each receiver or molecule receiving a photon (also known as protoporphyrin) functions as a small antenna. This is the main advantage of circular polarization.

In addition, the body perceives it much more comfortably than ordinary light or light with other types of polarization.

A series of many tests have shown the positive effect of applications of circular / elliptically polarized light on the biofield of users and also on the modulation of brain waves.
